How it works
The draw runs in your browser. Every valid result is equally likely, so nobody is favoured — and the draw never gives anyone their own name or someone from their household.
Each person gets a link with their result encrypted in the part after #. That part is not sent to our server; the person sees only whom they buy for.
Questions
- Do participants need an account or email?
- No. You send each person their link by WhatsApp, Messenger, text or email — whatever your group uses.
- Can the organiser take part too?
- Yes. The organiser never sees the pairs unless they click “Show all pairs”. Just send yourself your link like everyone else.
- What if the draw is impossible?
- Too many rules can make a draw impossible — say three people where two may only buy for the same person. The page tells you exactly who is blocked.
- Someone lost their link. What now?
- Links are not stored anywhere, so keep this page open until everyone has theirs. Otherwise draw again and send the new links.
